Set Skype audio preferences to use the headset for input and output.
Create a recording session called Skype Call in Wiretap Studio with Skype and the USB mic as inputs. Adjust the relative volume of the mic in the setup. Select skip silence option to avoid recording long pauses in the conversation.
Click the Skype Call session in Wiretap sessions and click the "Start" button in the toolbar. When done, click the "Stop" button in the toolbar.
